Lesson Policies

  • Lesson fees are due monthly. Please complete payment to your emailed invoice by the first lesson of the month.

  • All late payments will be subject to a 10% late fee.

  • You will be sent an invoice via email. Simply open the email and click on the button that says Review and Pay, and you'll be brought to a separate window where you can input your payment info. We currently only accept ACH bank transfers paid online. Once you have made your payment, you will receive a receipt via email. Please note: We do not accept payments via Venmo. If you choose to pay with cash or check, please understand that our late policy still applies.

  • If a student needs to cancel a lesson, they must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to be placed in the make-up lesson on the pre-planned lesson day. Please view the calendar for that month's date. Students who cancel within 24 hours will not be offered a make-up lesson. The result of any cancellation will not have an impact on payment for the month.

  • Only one lesson a month can be made up to encourage riders to do their best to make their lesson slot. A lot of planning is done for each lesson, so we ask that families do their best to plan accordingly.

  • The makeup lesson slot will typically be the last Thursday of the month unless the calendar states otherwise.

  • We are happy to create a plan/adjust for any pre-planned absences (ex: vacations) known before the month starts. We ask that you communicate with the instructor before the month starts to create a plan.

  • If a student’s lesson falls on a holiday, the instructor will communicate with the students well in advance to coordinate schedules.

  • If you wish to stop taking lessons at the barn, give 30 days' notice. If notice is given within less than 30 days, payment for the next month will still be due. If you choose to stop attending lessons within this 30-day window, we cannot refund the cost of the remaining lessons.
