About Us
SaddleCreek Stables is a family-owned and operated equine facility. Established in 2012, our mission has always been to inspire and build-up well-rounded horsemen and horsewomen.
While our lessons focus the practical skills of riding and caring for horses, our atmosphere works to cultivate the fruits of a humble barn life. Being in the barn gives participants natural opportunities to slow down and enjoy creation, anticipate and respond to the needs of their horses and peers, and contribute to a community.
About Hannah Jamison
Hannah has been actively involved in the horse world for more than 15 years and has been teaching lessons for more than 10 years.
Hannah was first introduced to horses by a generous woman with haflingers. She competed from a young age in the draft circuit, driving a single and team of haflingers, and eventually started riding. Hannah has competed in and judged multiple New York State 4H state championships and was active in the equestrian program at her Alma mater, Houghton College. She has extensive experience in training horses of all ages, including breaking green horses.
Hannah graduated from Houghton College with a degree in Theology. She currently works for Scarlet Thread Ministries, a Wayne County-based ministry that sponsors after school drop-in youth centers, providing middle school and high school students with a safe place to spend time after school, find community and hear the gospel.
Hannah is proud to be CHA Certified for English and Western.
