Frequently Asked Questions

What should I or my child wear to a lesson?

Please wear pants (no shorts, dresses or skirts) and closed-toed boots with a heel. Avoid loose or baggy clothing as they can restrict movement and get caught in a horse’s tack.

Can I stay and watch my child’s lesson?

Parents and families are always invited to stay and watch. However, we ask that you refrain from instructing your child from the sidelines or interfering with the lesson in any way. Your child will get the most out of their lesson when they can remain focused on their horse and their instructor.

Can I board my horse at SaddleCreek?

Yes. We require that all boarders take part in our Horsemanship Program. Please fill out this form if you’re interested in boarding your horse at SaddleCreek.

Do you ride English or Western?

We provide Western riding lessons unless you have your own horse and specifically request English lessons.

What are your age limits for lessons?

We have taught students from ages 5-70. Our primary focus in taking on new students is finding a horse that’s a good fit for the rider.

Can I volunteer at SaddleCreek?

Yes! We have several volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups. Contact Hannah to learn more.
